A Guide to a CHUNKY Journal (and how to actually stick with journaling)...✨🍷📔✍️ #journalinspo #craftblog
Hellooo! Summer is in the air!
As someone who has been journaling for 3+ years consistently and my journals look like this(pretty chunky), I think I'm pretty qualified to write this post.

Before anything I wanna show couple of drawings I did from Pinterest in the past few days since I'm at home in the summer.
Now, let's get down to business.

So I have tried making my journals aesthetic for a while but I didn't succeed completely till 2025(the middle one).
One thing about making a crafty aesthetic journal is that you don't try too hard. When you do that it ends up being a journal 2 pages done. You won't be able to continue 'cause you get tired(Looking at a stack of my journals from when I was younger). Just try to make it to your vibe as possible.
By this I mean make like little cute doors of drawing and when you open them there's text of your day or a drawing. I started this recently and it's really fun and can add to the craftiness of the journal.

Step 2: Experiment.
A quote I like to use is you can never experiment too much when it comes to journaling or scrapbooking.
You see that can part I stuck right there? That was a big experiment. The dried flowers on the side of the previous picture? Result of experimenting.
Now fair warning this may not look good every time but that's ok cs that's the point.
Step 3: Trashify.
You know you're getting good when you see potential in trash.
Wrapper to bottles to cans to everything. Think twice before going to the bin. Is it worthy of your journal?
A journal is mostly about memories make sure you make space for them. Write letters. Collect tickets and pictures and everything you can. Stick them in there. Make it your sanctuary. And make sure you write too. Because it's a journal. There should be a mix of everything. And make it something you want to come back to.
And that was it for this post guys! Hope the tips helped! Let me know if you have any questions or anything. New photography posts might be coming soon! Byeeee! Happy Journaling!
