'If I cannot be better than them, I will become so much worse'-Iconic words of Jude.
Hello! Your blogger is back after reading another series!
Not my picture because I read the whole series online. And I read it in February so I'm going to try to remember Everything I wanted to say then. But the folk of the air series was just soo good.
1. The Cruel Prince- 4.6
2. The Wicked King- 4.9
3. Queen of Nothing- 4.7
Overall Rating: 4.7
Let's goo...
1. The Cruel Prince- 4.6- This series is about 3 sisters being whisked off into faerieland when they were kids and how they manage the harshness there for humans. So the first book started off kind of boring but it had a fast recovery as I was interested by around chapter 3. After that there was a lot of tension and also mixed feeling but the main character, Jude's pov was just written so well. Jude is such a strong, badass character through her actions but her inner dialogue shows really well how realistic it is under all her armour. And her character is just developed so well as she endures more things. How her trauma affects her but also makes her more interesting. There was some unhinged stuff close to the ending where everything went fast and I read the second half of the book in one sitting. The ending was sort of a cliffhanger.
2. The Wicked King- 4.9- This is one of the strongest ratings I've given to a book since this book was just pure perfect. There was enemies to lovers going on and it was done right. Many books I've read before didn't have real enemies. But this book is so good. And the villain is also written so well and he even has a good morale besides evilness. And the tension just let's you keep going and you just want to get to the next interaction between them. And also there are plot twists and the ending was a huge one. I was shocked, a little betrayed to say the least.
3. Queen of Nothing- 4.7- This book started off quite good but it took a while to start in my opinion and sometimes a bit slow but other than that it was really good as well. The last part was the best part where everything seems to be going down but at least the ending didn't traumatize me as I expected. I was quite satisfied of how things ended. But I do wish for more books from this series. It's just so overwhelmingly good and can leave you squealing or just mad.
I hope I succeeded in convincing you to read this series and that's it for today! I did finish another trilogy but that's a yap for another day.
Bye!
