 The Doom of Fate

My town was cursed. I remember everyday on the news, it said in big letters ‘MISSING’ as a headline and talked about a monster that killed ‘billions’ of innocent beings on their beds leaving nothing but stab marks. And those days I was unaware that the monster was no one but me. As many typical teenage boys, I thought I had a normal life; wake up, go to school, work in school etc., but what I didn’t know was I was chosen to live in a nightmare.

Right now, my life in high school (as a 16 year-old teen) is monotonous but flashback in time (a year ago), life was a mystery. I was a perfect kid in school; growing up, my mom was a sleepyhead barely around, and my dad was a policeman. Sadly, he died of an accidental gun shot (by his boss) when I was four. Can you believe that police is so stupid?! Cousins was the only thing I had and only met them rarely. Straight As’ was usual; I even moved up a grade! Yet, I ( Xavier J.), had a curse that no other typical boy lived through.

In our house, sleeping is weird; my mom would sleep early and I would sleep late. My mom wasn’t the mom you would expect a mom to be. My worst fear remained unknown (sleeping). Life at school was unimaginably easy. I tended to take a short naps in maths (and have sleepwalking nightmares) and stay alert in history. Did I forgot to mention, that I was afraid of sleepwalking!? My whole life, I thought I was laying in bed, having a good sleep but I was wrong. Stories of a guy wearing red pyjamas walking around the streets of my town began to spread. Shockingly, that pyjamas seemed familiar. It didn't take long for me to realise that I knew whose it was. I was caught on camera. Fortunately, the face was blurred. Fear shrivelled down my throat as I ran to a wild ride searching through the internet, to find a cure. After hours passed by, I was exhausted. I flopped my body on the bed, getting ready to face my curse once again.

To be continued.....

Hope u liked the start!

Worth, A poem for everyone....✨🥀💐 #poetry #poemblog

Guys I tried to write a poem that make you feel better a bit out of my comfort zone I'd say so tell me if you like it or not! I think it came out the way I wanted it to.  You're more than a stereotype, A race, a skin colour or a culture. You're more than your beliefs or ones of a society, You're more than a standard, a grade, a number. You're more than what you should be or shouldn't be, You're more than what you're admired for or disliked for. You're worth more than what you sound like and what you look like. You're more than your weaknesses,  Your talents, Your failures and achievements. You're not what you feel sad, angry or happy. For your worth can't be measured by a tape, a tool or a scale  Can't be measured by opinions, Judgemental phrases or rumours. Can't b defined by you or the amount of stars in the universe,  Or darkness in a black hole. For your worth is the love you give, The love you put into the world, no matter...
