Nostalgic for the Future.. ✨🥀🪄💐 #deeppoems #poetryblog

 My birthday was a few days ago and I wrote a poem in honour of that. I put some work into this and I'm pretty proud of it though I feel like it's similar to one I wrote last year but yeah. 



I yearn for a past of a life I haven't lived,

Yearn for stories to tell of a life I haven't built.

Nostalgia for places I haven't been,

Fear of a life with folds and too much tilt.


My soul sings for the sound of people I haven't met,

 It calls me in a way I don't understand

I don't really know what it keeps singing, keeps screaming

But all I know is that it's not something bland.


What if my life was already written in the stars,

A future I cannot see.

But constellations change not like people.

I want it to be like the wind flowing and free.


Maybe this doesn't mean something bad

That I don't know how it needs to be

Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the future

I have yet to build.



Also I really would love some ideas to post like something cool and original or something new you want to see. Please drop in the comments!

  Guys I tried to write a poem that make you feel better a bit out of my comfort zone I'd say so tell me if you like it or not!
